HOW LONG DO FIRE EXTINGUISHERS LAST?
This largely depends on the type of fire extinguisher. If you have CO2 extinguishers, they will last for around 10 years before a replacement is needed. Most other types of extinguisher (water, foam, wet chemical and powder) have a lifespan of around 20 years. If in double, out team will be happy to help.
DOES MY PREMISES EVEN NEED FIRE EXTINGUISHERS?
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that proper firefighting equipment must be present at your place of business and/or public property.
